FlowGuard® CPVC pipe and fittings are made from a specialty plastic known chemically as chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), which offers increased product toughness year-round and simplified installation using readily available, inexpensive tools.

FlowGuard® CPVC pipe and fittings utilize solvent cemented joints, proven with more than 50 years of successful service history, and are available from ½” to 16” (dependent on manufacturer) and produced according to a wide range of international standards including ASTM F439 (schedule 80 fittings), ASTM F441 (schedule 40 & 80 pipe), ASTM D2846 (copper tube size pipe and fittings) and EN ISO 15877.

            Advantages

Quiet operation

Uncompromised water quality (no piping corrosion or copper contamination and the risk of bacteria breeding)
Energy efficiency
Reduced condensation
Simplified installation to reduce working time
Excellent physical properties (tough and rigid material)
UV resistant (Available working outside)
Excellent chemical resistant (Acids, Bases and Salt)
Hot and cold-water compatibility
Fire Resistance, no flaming drips, not increases the fire load, low flame spread, low smoke generation
High HDB (22.3 Bar at 23° C and 5.6 Bar at 82° C)
NSF international certificated piping system for portable water supply.
50 years long term performance guarantee

CPVC plumbing pipe installed in Baltimore, Maryland, USA in 1960s. No erosion of pipe wall after 23 years of installation. The water supply performance of the pipeline is unaffected.
